Merry Christmas everyone and thank you for following my blog for another year!
Lion St Store Exhibition- last few days! I made a little viking.
Really love this image. It's for sale in print form from the Folk and Fire exhibition at The Lion St Store in Rye. Oh and I have some work there too! Will post shortly.

New Fox on the sofa getting ready to pack and send.
An attempt to make some crochet slippers for the boy goes slightly wrong but curiously end up looking like how I would draw high heeled shoes- or little trotters.
My new work space. Actually in the corner of our bedroom for the moment. Takes me back to student days! It works ok but I have to keep VERY tidy as there is not much room before things start falling on the floor. One day I will find a cheap warm studio that will have 2 tables- one for cutting and sticking and one for painting and drawing.
I'm excited to be part of this exhibition with a few bonfire related pieces- hooray!
A Suitcase full of small heads off to the End of the Road Festival Merch shop. There are only 10 so get there quick!
End of the Road time again! If my Giant animal heads hold up they will be on the main stage again- see if you can spot them!
Quick picture of the new animals at Pelham House Hotel in Lewes.
A fruity mobile! I have some work on show now at Pleasant Bakery in Lewes and also some new animal heads at Pelham House. There is a private view on Monday afternoon if you fancy a peek.

Picked up these bits of patchwork today as they were being sold for a charity. Not sure what I will do with them but I actually really love the aesthetic of the back of the work more than the fabric.
Olympics! Hooray for team GB! Think we are getting a bit addicted- need to get on with some new work.
It's hard to condense 15 years worth of art work and associated clutter but that is what i'm trying to do.
After 6 years I have just had to clear away my little home studio to make way for the boy. This is the underside of the table i have been using for my desk all that time. It is an ordinary kitchen table inherited from my Grandparents house where my Mum and her sisters grew up. They started the tradition of writing underneath it and so for the next 40 or so years children in the family and special visitors were allowed to add their names and record special events under the table. This is me aged 7!
Finished white Deer. Was packaged and sent off yesterday in an ENORMOUS box- not the easiest thing to pack!
Work in progress- a sneak preview of the new alphabet wrapping paper i'm working on.
Have a look at www.crayonillustration.com , a new illustration agency featuring my work ( thank you Al for all your hard work! )
My wrapping paper is back in Wickle and in orange this time! www.wickle.co.uk
Visited the lovely Lion Street Store in Rye at the weekend. Full of beautiful design. They have a few of my pieces and a rather scary looking man head.

Slowly but surely- new things!
A little project i completed this week for my boy ( although i'm not sure he likes it yet! )
You may be wondering why I have not posted for a while. Well this is because my best creation yet has finally arrived! My beautiful baby boy was born at the beginning on February so I will be taking a break from making my animals for a bit. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have a commission or project in mind for later in the year.
