I have been wanting to make a bear for ages! Here he is and i think he is my favourite so far.
I have just completed a few new animals for Artwave which is an art trail and open houses in and around Lewes. They are hanging in the Needlemakers cafe at the moment and i think they look really good.

This is just to show what is going on in my work room at the moment- It's actually very tidy! I'm working on a series of british birds amongst other projects.
Some new heads drying in the sun in my garden- perfect weather for paper mache!

My beautiful potato...
Making up twiddle boxes yesterday for the Books that Fly conference in Brighton this weekend whilst trying to catch up on a bit of the tennis!
A recent trip to Crystal Palace park hunting for dinosaurs- for some reason it took us ages to find then which made it quite exciting when we did!
So below are some of the animal heads i have made recently. They are all made from recycled materials such as cardboard boxes, newspaper and magazines. The stag here was completed last week in a bit of a hurry for a birthday present ( i got the wrong date!) but i think it looks ok.
