For the first time in about 8 years I went to a life drawing class. Was really lovely, led by the brilliant illustrator Camilla Perkins (camillaperkins.com)
This looks nothing like our model so it's going to take a bit longer to get my lazy looking and drawing skills into shape!
The Brighton festival is coming soon and I will be exhibiting my work in an open house this year with a fantastic group of illustrators and makers ( no.3 on the 7 dials trail if you are an old hand!) . More details to follow...
Thank you to everyone who bid on my postcards! This is one I didn't actually scan beforehand so it's taken off the St wilfrids site ( hence the watermark)

For those of you in or near sussex, I have several pieces in the Big Art Secret 2 currently on at the Towner gallery in Eastbourne (http://www.stwhospice.org/fundraising/events) It's a great exhibition to go and see whole variety of work from kid's drawings to professional artists. It's in aid of St Wilfrids Hospice so a very worthwhile cause. Bidding starts on ebay next week starting at 99p. There are some famous names as well- I will be looking for the Grayson Perry! I can't reveal what mine are because it's supposed to be a secret- but think it will be quite obvious. Happy bidding!

Happy New Year! It's been a while. I love my studio and have been getting back to work slowly. I remember about this time last year I wished for a studio to work in and now I have one, so this year.... well i'm at long last going to open a very small online shop in February. Sometimes January feels like climbing a very big mountain but onwards and upwards!
Oh and a very tiny hare.
Merry Christmas everyone! It's been a busy one as usual! New pictures and new plans to follow...
Here is a quick picture from the artists and makers blog to show my ( slightly depleted) suitcase of heads at the fair. Nearly all went in the end and i had a wonderful and exhausting day talking to lots of lovely people. Thank you to everyone who came to see me and who bought a piece. It was honestly one of the best days of my year and a much needed boost!
I don't usually have the time to do craft fairs really but decided to do this one as it's really nice and festive- and very busy. Will have a suitcase of small heads for sale!
